Associate IPv4 Floating IP

  1. Navigate to Compute→Instances, then click the down arrow on the context menu in the Actions column located on the right side of the instance row.
  2. In the dropdown menu, select "Associate Floating IP".

  3. In the pop-up window, either choose an existing floating IP from the list or click + to allocate a new floating IP.

  4. If you clicked + to allocate a new floating IP, then pick PSNC-EXT-PUB1-EDU Pool or other pool you want to use if you are using router connected to another external network pool. Click Allocate IP. allocate floting ip
  5. After the IP is allocated and assigned in the IP Address field, click Associate. manage floating ip
  6. Now the public IP Address is associated to the instance and it is visible together with private IP in the IP Address column.
