Storage types

PSNC provides the following storage resources:

• Block Storage Volumes (Ceph NVMe pool): Ceph_Frappuccino_NVME
• Block Storage Volumes (Ceph HDD pool): Ceph_Frappuccino_HDD
• Shared Storage (CephFS): CephFS-Frappuccino

Both Ceph block storage volume pools offer unencrypted as well as encrypted volume types:

• Unencrypted volume types:
  • Ceph_Frappuccino_NVME_Platinum
  • Ceph_Frappuccino_HDD_Standard
• Encrypted volume types:
  • Ceph_Frappuccino_NVME_Platinum_Encrypted
  • Ceph_Frappuccino_HDD_Standard_Encrypted

You can select the desired volume type from the “Type” drop-down menu when creating a volume.
